An historic fishing village in the heart of the beautiful Fife coast…..

Crail
Crail is located 10 miles south of St Andrews and is one of the best preserved East Neuk fishing villages.  It has a thriving village community, with a local bakers, butchers, fish and chip shop and 2 convenience stores.

There is a stylish art gallery, a long-established pottery, a good book shop, a local museum and a couple of charming tea shops and a couple of pubs serving local produce for lunch and dinner.  A visitor information office is located in the heart of the village.

Fresh crab and lobster is available from the harbour over the summer months.

There is a small sandy beach, rock pools and rocky coastal path to explore.

The village is connected to the other East Neuk fishing villages by the Fife Coastal Path which follows the coast from North Queensferry to the Tay Bridge.  It offers some spectacular scenery.

There are bus links along the coast to St Andrews and the other coastal villages.
